DSS / ACCESSIBILITY
INFORMATION
YOU CAN ACCESS.
Our approach to website accessibility, current features and ways to request help.
Our approach
We aim to make the DSS website understandable and usable across different devices and ways of accessing information. Accessibility is an ongoing part of reviewing the website. We welcome reports of barriers.
Features in the current website
- A skip-to-content link and structured page headings.
- Text labels for form fields and controls.
- Alternative descriptions for informative images; decorative images use empty alternatives where appropriate.
- Keyboard-operated navigation, with visible focus styles.
- Review and booking dialogs with labelled close controls.
- Responsive layouts, with checks at phone and tablet widths.
- Reduced-motion styling and a video pause control on The Unit page.
Known limitations
The website has not undergone a complete independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim certified WCAG conformance. The external vcita calendar and downloadable PDFs may have accessibility limitations. Videos may need additional captions or text alternatives. These areas require further review.
The Hell Weekend application provides a signature upload alternative to drawing on screen. Contact us if the application format presents a barrier.
