DEFENSIVE PISTOL
Fundamentals
Delta Survival School presents the Defensive Pistol Course.
A 5-hour training from our Personal Safety and Defense domain, designed to build a complete technical foundation in pistol handling and safe manipulations. This course is beginner friendly and equally valuable for intermediate shooters looking to correct and solidify their fundamentals.
As a training tool, we use professional-grade firearm replicas — so you train every fundamental in a controlled and safe environment with professional instruction.
This is a practical course from the first module. Every fundamental is taught, demonstrated, and applied. You handle the replica, run the drills, and build muscle memory through repetition.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Safety — The four international firearm safety rules. Applied from minute one.
Mechanical Function — How a pistol operates. Components, mechanics, and safety features from first principles.
The Seven Fundamentals of Marksmanship — Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger Control, Breathing, Follow-through.
Manipulations — Drawing from holster, tactical and emergency reloads, malfunction drills.
Dynamic Basics — Movement under control. Kneeling, lateral movement, position changes while maintaining full weapon handling.
