WILDERNESS SURVIVAL BASICS
Your first step toward real outdoor capability.
Most people who end up in trouble outdoors don't lack courage. They lack preparation.
Unfamiliar terrain, bad weather, disorientation — these don't arrive one at a time. They stack. And when they do, the difference between managing the situation and losing control comes down to one thing: knowing what to do.
This 5-hour course gives you the foundation — the mindset, the priorities, and the hands-on skills to stay functional when conditions turn against you. You leave with skills you have actually used, not just heard about.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Survival Mindset — What stress does to you in the field, how it compounds, and how to control it.
Planning and the Emergency Pack — Scenario-based planning and how to build a practical emergency pack.
Survival Priorities — The sequence that determines your outcome in any wilderness emergency.
Shelter — Debris hut construction. Demonstrated, built by you, debriefed.
Fire — Kindling, ferro rod, starting fire in wet conditions. Every participant does it themselves.
Water — Procurement theory, water filter construction, filtration and purification in the field.
HOW IT WORKS
Every session combines theory and hands-on practice. You don't just watch — you do it yourself.
